A young man named Tatsumi Karasawa quickly gains influence in Shinjuku's criminal underworld. He leads a group of inexperienced individuals unafraid to confront both law enforcement and rival gangs. His rapid rise draws the attention of a senior figure and a yakuza leader, who conspire to remove him. The manga received the 47th Shogakukan Manga Award in 2001 in the General Youth Division.
