A young woman named Haru discovers that a jewel in her late mother's ring is rare to the point of only existing in the dragon country. Living a simple life under a feudal lord, her routine is upended by this revelation. She takes in a baby dragon, and shortly after, a man in black clothing appears. Her previously uneventful existence is now in question.
