Tomo is a quiet graduate student in botany who fears romantic relationships. When Yoji, a new and somewhat imposing lab member, arrives, Tomo offers him a place to stay after noticing his financial struggles. Beneath his tough exterior, Yoji proves to be caring, and Tomo grows fond of their shared time. Yoji unexpectedly confesses his feelings, and Tomo agrees to the relationship. Though Yoji is affectionate and supportive, Tomo finds himself uncertain about how to navigate being in a relationship, as it is his first experience with love.
