Hi no Kagutsuchi

While searching for his missing brother, Hachiya Rei visits a shrine and is wrongly accused of stealing money. To make amends, he is made to work off the debt. The true culprit is later revealed to be a daemon, an evil god. After confronting the daemon, Rei awakens Kagutsuchi, the fire god hidden within him. As Kagutsuchi's vessel, Rei gains the ability to use holy fire to purify daemons, though this power comes with a drawback.
