Satoru works as a playwright for a theater company, while Itsuki is an actor who was inspired by Satoru to enter the theater. As their mutual attraction intensifies, both struggle with self-loathing and their emotions. When Itsuki is cast in a significant role for the next production, Satoru revises the script while Itsuki focuses on preparing for the part. Their feelings become harder to conceal, leading them toward a moment of truth.
