Kakeru is an exchange student who struggles with social interactions. Yuudai is a naturally popular figure, and Ryou is Yuudai's childhood friend. Though unlikely to connect otherwise, the three form a close friendship. When Ryou begins a relationship with another girl, Kakeru discovers Yuudai has feelings for Ryou. Kakeru, who secretly likes Yuudai, proposes a physical relationship to show Yuudai "how men love each other." The fallout from this deception begins to affect Kakeru.
