At fifteen, the princess of Akura must complete a traditional pilgrimage. Nanami, a mage, is tasked with guiding the current princess, Miki, on this journey. Miki is difficult to deal with, often making unreasonable demands, including ordering others to kneel. Despite her behavior, she cannot be harmed, as she is a member of the royal family and also the sole bearer of sacred power essential to the world. Nanami must endure the strain of the journey and find a way to complete it without incident, all while managing Miki’s presence.
