Himegami

At the start of the Meiji Era, the northern town of Hakodate becomes a refuge for enigmatic creatures called "youjin," seemingly controlled by global powers. A fifteen-year-old girl named Hyou has secretly been battling these beings alone, disguising herself as the samurai "Miburo." One night, while fighting for survival, she is rescued by another skilled warrior, Himegami. This encounter alters the course of both their lives. A deeper historical truth begins to emerge.
