Hina-chan ga Ikiteru nara

Sora Ueno, a high school student, lives in a remote mountain town where she has always felt out of place. Her only confidante was her childhood friend Hinako, who vanished during the 1984 Minazuki Festival. Locals dismissed it as a divine taking and did not search for her. Four years later in 1988, Hinako returns unchanged, but the villagers react with fear and push her away. Sora remains loyal, but strange secrets about the town and Hinako’s disappearance begin to emerge.
