Hitoribocchi Ruka

Ruka is a high school student in Sapporo, Hokkaido, living a happy life with her two sisters and parents. Though they don’t share the same mother, she has a kind older sister and a younger one, and they are cared for by a strict yet affectionate mother and a gentle father. Her peaceful existence is disrupted when a new student named Shion arrives at her school. For reasons that are unclear, Shion regards Ruka as his enemy. As Ruka tries to understand his hostility, her life begins to take a downward turn. Additional stories included in later volumes explore other characters and events, such as *Hana-gatami* and *Peter Brown no Fushigi na Bouken*.
