Hitorigurashi no Shougakusei

A 9-year-old girl named Rin lives alone on Enoshima Island after her parents' death. She attends school and manages her family’s restaurant, which is located on the first floor of her home. Running the business is difficult due to her young age, and it consistently operates at a financial loss. The food quality is low, and Rin struggles to afford basic necessities like a winter coat, an umbrella, or a new t-shirt to replace her patched one. Despite these hardships, her genuine demeanor attracts others who are moved to support her efforts.
