Hokusou Fuuunden

During the early Song Dynasty in China, a time marked by widespread government corruption and the routine use of bribery, torture, and intimidation, a young official named Houjou emerges to confront these injustices. Empowered by the Emperor with three execution tools, he is tasked with restoring fairness to the legal system. Inspired by the historical figure Justice Bao, known for his integrity, the story follows Houjou and his team as they combat the entrenched corruption within the imperial courts. The narrative takes a lighthearted approach to the challenges of ancient Chinese governance.
