Shizuka and Taro attend the same high school and meet through a stray cat, forming a friendship. Their relationship changes when their parents marry, making them step-siblings. Living together with Takamasa and Himeko, they face a range of challenges. The story takes place in an old house and explores themes of love, joy, and sadness.
