Hone no Oto
骨の音
A collection of short manga stories by Iwaaki, originally published between 1985 and 1990, includes his debut work *Gomi no Umi*, which won the 12th Chiba Award. The compilation features seven one-shots, arranged in the order they were published, with the title story *Hone no Oto* added specifically for the 1990 tankobon edition. Each story was initially released in different *Morning* magazine special issues, with some later selected for Chiba Awards. A four-page bonus story was included only in the 1990 Masterpiece Edition.
