Hoshi to Suna no Chikai

Iris, a geologist, travels to Kadar for work. There, she encounters Asad, her former lover and the country's sheikh. They met as university students and fell in love, but their relationship ended abruptly when Asad left. Later, Iris discovered he was the sheikh and had married a princess from another nation. Resolute in moving on, she avoids entanglements with him. However, upon seeing Asad again, she feels emotional conflict. He has since divorced his wife.
