Shino, a high school student moving from Tokyo to Ibaraki, is late on his first day at his new school and encounters a girl named Sera Ichigo in the shade. As the day progresses, he ends up in the Astronomy Club, where he learns she is a member. The club becomes a central part of his experience as he begins his high school life.
