A girl named Suzu is enrolled in summer remedial classes after failing her exams, despite being accepted into her dream school. Her classmate Seito, also attending the classes, invites her to spend time together. Suzu, who has long wished to make friends and enjoy high school, agrees. The story explores her experience as she begins to discover the complexities of growing up and forming connections.
