Houkago no Salome

A classmate named Naomi asks for help painting after school, and they go to the rarely used art storage room. The narrator becomes her assistant as she creates art. Naomi, who recently arrived at an Osaka art high school, challenges the talented and hardworking Renji with her unsettling skill. His confidence is shaken, and he tries to hide his insecurity by claiming he could create similar work. Over time, he becomes captivated by her ability and struggles with feelings of self-doubt and competition. Together, they create unusual and expressive art after school. The story explores themes of art and youth, told by a new creator.
