Sakurai Natsumi’s older brother was the respected former captain of the track and field team at Tokiwa Middle School. The new captain, Yoku-senpai, is an exceptional athlete who prefers training in basketball and soccer rather than track. Natsumi disapproves and threatens to stop attending practices if no one trains in track and field. After some former team members who disliked her brother attempt to attack her, Yoku-senpai intervenes and protects her. Over time, she begins to develop feelings for him. Meanwhile, Koushi, Yoku-senpai’s friend, may also be developing romantic interest in Natsumi.
