Houkago Sword Club

Gaie Kensei begins high school at the same institution as his childhood friend Nireki Hikari. He is eager to join the prestigious kendo club but faces rejection due to his lack of skill compared to his famous father. After wandering in frustration, he discovers Ashihara Naoto, who appears knowledgeable in kendo despite claiming to dislike it and preferring to read. Naoto agrees to train Kensei to help him prove himself, though she declines to join the club. On the last day to sign up, Kensei successfully joins the kendo club, as does Hikari, who becomes its first female member. Their high school journey centered around kendo is just beginning.
