A timid, studious student enrolls at a high school known for its delinquents and is soon forced to comply with demands from a violent group led by Kawatou to avoid physical harm. One Saturday, he assists a girl escaping Kawatou's group, only to be attacked himself. He is rescued by Karin, a powerful and popular student known as the "Empress," whose friend he had just helped. As part of a mutual agreement, Karin begins training him in combat, while he helps her with academics. Through her instruction, he grows stronger, raising the possibility of one day becoming the school's most formidable student.
