A high school girl named Yan has experienced a recurring nightmare since she was ten, in which a fox devours her heart. During a school trip, when she is alone, a fox-like woman named Ran approaches her. Rather than attacking, Ran asks Yan to help her find her missing tail. In return for this assistance, Ran offers to grant Yan a wish.
