Hwangjeui Yeonin

An ancient order known as the Evil Slayer selects Gun as the new Emperor of the HaeWol Kingdom after 400 years. He defeats the oppressive Hwang family, who had caused widespread suffering, and becomes ruler following his brother’s death. Seeking to eliminate the remaining Hwang allies outside the capital, Gun undertakes a covert operation. During this mission, he may uncover long-standing mysteries, including the betrayal by Choa and her father. Despite severing ties with Choa in anger, he finds himself drawn to her again as she reappears in two different roles. The story explores whether they can overcome their painful past and avoid repeating the tragic fate of Choa’s parents.
