Aristana was next in line to inherit the throne of Yiogrante until she was accused of murdering her brother, causing her siblings to compete for the position she once held. Stripped of her future as empress, she becomes a source of imperial shame. She encounters Marquess Patelo, a man from the future who believes she will one day rule. Despite this, she has given up on the throne and now seeks to destroy everything and everyone responsible for her suffering.
