Before working as a manga artist, the creator spent seven years as a farmer in Hokkaido. During this time, they raised cattle, cultivated vegetables, and dealt with wildlife such as bears and squirrels. The work was demanding, with long hours throughout the year. This manga portrays the author's experiences and challenges in farming, highlighting the hard work and humor involved in rural life.
