Hybrid Child

A type of android known as the Hybrid Child can grow when given sufficient love and attention from its owner. These beings, neither entirely human nor entirely mechanical, form deep emotional connections with those who care for them. This collection includes multiple short stories centered on different Hybrid Child models. One follows Kotaro, a young boy who learns about responsibility when his Hybrid Child reaches the end of its life. Another follows Seya, a swordsman who experiences love again through his bond with a Hybrid Child named Yuzu. The last story focuses on Kuroda, the inventor of the Hybrid Child, and explores how a past lost love influenced his work.
