In 1935 Gyeongseong, an artist named I-Ho Yun is hired by the secluded Madam Jeong-Hwa Song to create a portrait. She allows him to see her for the first time, revealing a young woman. Despite this, she insists the painting depict her as elderly. Among the tools of a former artist, I-Ho finds a warning: “Don’t finish the portrait.” He discovers that no artist who has worked for Madam Song has survived or left unscathed. The situation raises questions about her intentions and the consequences of completing the painting.
