A thorn embedded in an apple caused a princess to fall into a deep sleep, and that same thorn now resides in Maki's heart. As an adult, Maki senses the possibility of new love, especially when she encounters a girl who resembles her first love, stirring her emotions. Yet, once again, her hopes are unfulfilled. She repeatedly struggles to hold onto love, wondering why it remains out of reach. However, there might be another love waiting for her. The story reimagines a new fairy tale for Maki, a friend of Romeo, in *Ibara no Namida*. The question remains: will Maki ever find her own princess?
