Yukino, a former skater who left the sport due to an injury, visits the ice rink where she once trained before it is torn down. Ikki Kouga, a former skater overseeing the demolition, observes her skating abilities and approaches her with an offer. He suggests she partner with Gilbert Roman, a dual Japanese and Canadian national skater who placed sixth in the Junior World Championships, to compete in ice dance.
