A boy named Ichigoki looks forward to starting high school when he is killed after encountering an escaped eastern lowland gorilla from the zoo. He awakens to find himself transformed into a cyborg with a fullmetal body. He begins a series of chaotic and frustrating adventures alongside Misao, his childhood friend who is a mad scientist. The manga is a coming-of-age, buddy comedy created by Seiji Hayashi, known for works such as I'm From Japan and Chikyuu Ningen Tera-chan.
