Ikeda Riyoko Zentanpen

Across two volumes, this anthology assembles every one-shot Riyoko Ikeda produced between 1968 and 1986, offering a panoramic view of her shorter output during nearly two decades of activity. The first book, titled Wedding Dress, brings together seventeen stories ranging from early pieces to better-known short works such as Claudine, Paranoia, the title story Wedding Dress and Whales no Akai Bara. The second book, Shiroi Egmont, gathers sixteen further stories including Ai wa Eien ni, Francesca no Shouzou, Hatsukoi Monogatari, Freesia no Asa and Sailing, among others. The set traces the breadth of themes and historical settings the author explored outside her longer serialisations, charting her short-form storytelling over the period.
