A 28-year-old host named Yuuta Kikumura finds a 10-year-old Filipino girl named Diana waiting outside his home. Her mother, who had remarried Yuuta's father, died in a traffic accident, leaving Diana alone at the hospital. With Yuuta's father unable to care for her due to work, Diana ends up staying with him. The two, who come from different generations and speak different languages, are now left to live together in the apartment.
