Ookuni Kenichi, heir to the Inaba Shine, returns to the shrine after a decade to continue his grandfather's legacy. Upon his return, he encounters various complications and miscommunications. Through these experiences, he uncovers a hidden truth about the shrine's four attendants. He also seeks to identify which of them is his childhood friend, someone with whom he once made a significant vow.
