Inakunare, Gunjou: Fragile Light of Pistol Star

Nanakusa, a 16-year-old, lives on Stairway Island, a place where he and 2000 others were left without memories of how they arrived. The island features a long stairway leading to a mountain summit where a witch is believed to reside. The only escape is by recovering what was lost. Nanakusa is content with his life there until his childhood friend, Manabe Yuu, reappears, disrupting his routine. Manabe, known for being extremely optimistic, also ended up on the island. The mystery of why they were all discarded and the identity of the witch remain unclear. Nanakusa and Manabe begin to investigate the island's secrets.
