Utsugi works as an investigator for a detective agency. He is assigned to locate the wife of a college professor named Yamashiro and finds her involved with another professor from the same university, Okuzono Shuji. This is not the first time Okuzono has taken a woman from Yamashiro. The two professors are caught in a complex and tangled relationship. Utsugi becomes entangled in their situation as he continues his investigation.
