Haruma Sakuraba has always felt overshadowed by his childhood friend Shuuji Inukai, who seemed to excel in all aspects of life. As a quiet salaryman, Haruma has long struggled with a sense of inadequacy. One day, he unexpectedly encounters Shuuji’s wife, Reika Sumi, a woman he has secretly admired since high school.
