Irregular's Rebellion

Huntis Harmillion aims to join the imperial knights to fight monsters and demons. He enters a knight academy and achieves the highest score in its history, but four others also perform exceptionally well, three of whom outperform him. The top among them, Reece Regalgent, forms a unit called Squad 00, or the Irregulars, with the five top students. A year later, Huntis is forced to repeat a year, his former squad has disbanded, and he is assigned to lead a group of underachievers known as The Worsts. He has lost his drive and ambition.
