During a late shift at a convenience store, the protagonist is attacked by a robber and fatally stabbed. As he nears death, he reflects on things he wished to accomplish, at which point a voice declares that his desire to be summoned has been recognized and grants him the Unique Skill 《Jack of all Trades, Master of None》. Confused and frustrated by the situation, he loses consciousness. Upon regaining awareness, he finds himself on a green, fog-covered hill.
