A high school student saves an elderly man who is actually a deity from being struck by a train and subsequently dies. As compensation, the god intends to send him to another world with special powers, but instead, he is mistakenly returned to his own world with the powers intact. He soon becomes entangled with a criminal and draws attention from a class representative. He is pulled into a conflict involving Onmyouji, a group practicing traditional Japanese magic. His hopes for a normal school life are increasingly disrupted by these events.
