Umi, a classmate and secret crush of Riku, finds herself spending more time with him after his family moves in next door due to his parents' divorce. Riku, now living with his father and younger brother, shares a school commute with Umi. When Umi tries to visit Riku for his birthday, the attempt ends in unexpected complications.
