Itsuka, Nemuri ni Tsuku Hi

Hotaru Morino is a high school sophomore who has harbored a crush on Ren Otaka since middle school. During a school trip with Ren and her friend Shiori Yamamoto, their bus crashes. After waking up a month later, Hotaru encounters Kuro, a grim reaper dressed in black. He informs her that she is dead and must let go of three attachments within 49 days to avoid becoming a trapped ghost. With only 19 days remaining, Hotaru begins working to resolve her regrets, aided by Kuro. One of these is confessing her feelings to Ren, though she struggles to do so when the moment arrives. As she addresses her first regret, ominous developments begin to unfold for her and Kuro.
