Itsutsu no Kisetsu ni Tantei wa

A sixteen-year-old high school student named Sakakibara Midori has a father who owns a detective agency. After hesitantly agreeing to a request from a classmate, she begins to understand the nature of detective work and its focus on uncovering the true nature of people. The narrative traces her development and education in the field through five brief cases occurring over a span of sixteen years.
