Yoshikawa Yoshio, a reserved high school student who wears glasses and has little experience with girls, meets Miyazaki Tomo at a school festival. Tomo finds him unexpectedly appealing, especially because he resembles a character from a manga series that she and her friend are deeply into. Yoshio takes advantage of this to start a relationship with her. However, the dynamic is complicated by the fact that Tomo constantly compares him to the fictional character he resembles.
