A poor college student enters a televised cooking competition with the goal of winning a large cash prize. He discovers that culinary skill alone may not be enough to gain audience support and decides that forming a fake romantic relationship with another competitor might help. He targets a charming and pleasant contestant, but the moment he reveals his idea, the contestant becomes hostile. Despite this, the two eventually agree to work together. They face challenges as they compete against other contestants who are eager for fame.
