Jamijami

In 1946 a young man named Ryo returns home to Kyoto after losing his right arm and right leg in the war. Unable to work or to protect his sister with only half a body, he sinks into despair and questions whether his life still has meaning. At a local shrine he hears a mysterious voice, and that encounter sets the story in motion as a postwar drama centred on a disabled veteran searching for purpose.
