Tomo often finds his relationships interrupted by his self-centered childhood friend Hideaki. When Tomo starts dating again, he expects interference but none comes. Puzzled, he learns that Hideaki is now in a relationship with a man. Though Tomo doubts the sincerity of this new side of Hideaki, he recalls the tender expression his friend wore while dealing with his own romantic concerns. One is a man who values kindness and affection, the other a confident, self-absorbed individual who craves control. Their friendship is evolving, and they must move beyond their old assumptions as a new relationship begins to form.
