Kaneda is a gambling addict constantly pursued by Torajima, a loan shark, for unpaid debts. His manga "Usotsuki Nacchan," created as his final work, unexpectedly becomes a major success. Torajima, who secretly loves manga, is deeply impressed by the story and proposes to support Kaneda as his producer. The two consider whether they can achieve a surprising turnaround together.
