The story centers on a boy and a girl who are directed by members of a secret group known as the Organization to travel to alternate realities. In each of these worlds, they work to prevent collapse and guide them toward improvement. The series is structured as omnibus volumes, with each one featuring a new main character. It is based on Takami Kazuyuki's submission titled "ピクニックは終末に," entered under the pseudonym "Enokino Hidehiko" for the 6th Dengeki Game Novel Award, where it reached the final round.
