Kang In-Young is betrayed by a friend and lover, leading to his wrongful conviction for murder. In prison, he meets an elderly former thief who stole a secret martial art from the JeonJin sect. To avoid being hunted, the old man committed a crime to enter prison, using the time to refine the technique. He contracts a plague-like illness and, after assessing Kang, chooses him as his successor, passing on the martial art before dying. A decade later, Kang completes his training and fully masters the skill.
