Rei Hitoma, a former teacher and self-described misanthrope, seeks a quiet life after experiencing past trauma. He accepts a teaching position in the mountains, expecting a peaceful environment. Instead, he discovers the school is for demi-human students aiming to transform into humans. The setting is an all-female institution focused on their transition. Hitoma must adapt to this unexpected situation as he begins his new role.
